Portfolio

UltraGrid offers the ability to turn your site into a portfolio. To enable this you will need to install the free Jetpack plugin.

  1. Go to Jetpack settings
  2. Hover over Custom Content Types and click on Configure
  3. Finally enable Portfolio Projects located near the bottom of the page

You will now see a new Portfolio tab in your WordPress admin (located under Pages).

Setting the Portfolio as Homepage

Once you have enabled your portfolio you may want to make it your homepage. To do this navigate to Customize > Static Front Page and then choose Your latest projects.

Masonry and Grid Layouts

There are two types of grid layouts at your disposal. Masonry is where the images keep their height and show in a mosaic layout. Grid is where all the images and posts are the same size, keeping a very consistent look.

You can choose from normal, large and extra large to show the posts at different sizes when you see them on the homepage.

You can adjust the number of columns you see in masonry and grid. You can choose from 2 – 6 columns.

Sidebar

UltraGrid supports two sidebars – one that is a slide out and one that is in-content. The in-content one is the one always showing and fits amongst the content.

Logo

There is no recommended size for the logo but we recommend a logo that is wide but not very high. There is support for a retina logo
